Hailing from the fresh and mountainous region of Western Washington, I now live in the Boston area where I work at athenahealth as a design researcher on the Design Research and Strategy team as part of the Design Operations group.

I love UX research for its design and social science origins and the value it places on human connection, sustainability, and transparent processes - I strive to create experiences that continue to reflect these themes, with a focus on systemic and structural solutions.

I specialize in ethnographic approaches and qualitative methods, but I regularly take on quantitative work to build out my research narratives, insights, and recommendations. This includes UX metric definition and instrumentation to ensure we gather the right data to answer our research questions and prove value.

Outside of work you may find me biking, hiking, camping, book clubbing, painting, perusing fabrics, or cooking kitchen sink recipes.
